2. Why does LAM use bamboo instead of cotton?
1. More Sustainable: Bamboo grows faster than cotton, requires less water, and doesn’t need harmful pesticides or fertilisers. This makes it an eco-friendly and renewable resource.
2. More Absorbent: Bamboo fibres are naturally more absorbent than cotton, helping to lock in moisture and keep you feeling dry and comfortable throughout the day.

5. Are LAM products cruelty-free?
Yes, our products are entirely free from animal by-products and animal-derived ingredients. We are also committed to cruelty-free practices, ensuring that neither we nor any third parties conduct animal testing on our behalf.
6. How long does it take for LAM Disposable products to biodegrade?
Our pads are 80% biodegradable and decompose within 6 months to 1 year under optimal conditions. This is significantly faster than conventional plastic-based pads, which can take over 500 years to break down.
We remain committed to advancing our products toward being 100% biodegradable.
7. Do your Disposable Products have a SAP core?
Yes! But here’s the difference and why: Our disposable products deliver the same high level of absorbency as conventional pads, so you can switch to eco-friendly period care without sacrificing performance.
Unlike many conventional brands that use synthetic SAP containing micro-plastics, our pads feature a non-toxic absorbent core made primarily from biodegradable wood pulp and plastic-free Sumitomo SAP. This keeps overall SAP content minimal while maintaining reliable, high-performance protection.
